Tiffin Cup Competition

Local MP and self proclaimed curry fan, David Burrowes, is once again holding the Tiffin Cup competition to find the best South Asian restaurant in Enfield Southgate.
MPs are seeking entrants in constituencies across the country and 10 short listed restaurants will battle it out at a cook-in at the Houses of Parliament for a chance to win the cup and a year’s supply of Cobra Beer.
David Burrowes said: “In Enfield Southgate we have some fine South Asian restaurants, which, being a big fan of curry I am no stranger to! This is the perfect opportunity to go and visit some and nominate your favourite for the accolade of Best South Asian Restaurant.”
If you want to see your local Indian, Bangladeshi or Pakistani restaurant gain a chance of winning the cup, then send your nominations to David Burrowes at the House of Commons, London, SW1A 0AA.
As well as celebrating South Asian cuisine, the event is being held to support an orphanage in India, so let’s eat for a good cause!
