David helps Naree Shakti with curry tasting event!

Over the last 5 years David Burrowes has been a regular visitor to the Trinity @ Bowes centre which has become a beacon in the community, providing community facilities in the Bowes ward of Enfield Southgate. David has also become a regular visitor to Naree Shakti ('women's strength') which is a support group for Asian women.
On Tuesday David watched some of the yoga activity and then fully participated in the curry tasting event!
As seen in the photo David has enjoyed showing the Naree Shakti group around Parliament and has arranged for the group to visit again next week.
David said "I commend the work of Naree Shakti which empowers women who may be in vulnerable and abusive situations. It has been a pleasure over my years as MP to support the group's activities and I hope if re-elected to have more opportunities to welcome them to Parliament and also share some more curries together!"
