David’s Despatch Box debut
30th January 2008
The infamous despatch box has borne the weight of many famous, and indeed infamous, politicians’ as they have engaged in the latest impassioned parliamentary debate.
Therefore, it was my honour to take to the box for my debut speech as part of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Bill on the 9th January, 2008.
Speaking about situations that I am passionate about seeing changed and directly relevant to all of our communities, not least my own constituency, Enfield Southgate, I was able to use my time at the despatch box to talk about drugs, alcohol and young people.
You can find a copy of the speech that I made in the ‘speeches’ section of this website.
